Explorer Camp (6-8 Year Olds)

This camp is a great opportunity for 6-8 year old campers to share in the excitement and fun of summer camp! Campers will spend time in the pool, play parachute games, archery, and much more in this fun and safe camping adventure. Of course, what camping experience would be complete without singing, Bible study, and s’mores around a campfire?!  All aquatic activities are supervised by certified lifeguards. Youth Camp 

Summer gameThere’s no better way to spend five days this summer! CampOmega offers a unique opportunity to grow together in Christian faith and fellowship within a cabin community. Youth Camp campers stay in cabins or the RetreatCenter located on main camp with a bunk mate of their choice. Campers will participate in a dinner cookout and an opportunity for an overnight campout. Mini Youth Camp

Mini Youth Camp is an opportunity for 9-13 year olds to experience all the excitement, friends, and spiritual growth of our week long Youth Camp in just a few days. It is perfect for campers not quite ready to stay for the full week as well as those with busy summer schedules. Mini Youth Camp campers stay in cabins or the RetreatCenter located on main camp with a bunk mates of their choice. Come and join us mid-week or for the weekend!

Friends Retreat

We all know girls just want to have fun, and in this weekendGirl Friends retreat, get ready for an all girls slumber party the CampOmega way! Grab your best friend, group of friends, or come alone and meet friends for a weekend which focuses on community building, self-esteem, and unity through God’s word. With time set aside for swimming, arts and crafts, and campfire, this weekend one you won’t want to miss!

Man Camp

Man CampIt’s been a while since cavemen walked the earth, but now is your chance to grunt around a campfire. Grab some pals or come alone and meet new friends and join us for a “guys only” campout the Camp Omega way! Come do what guys like to do: build forts in the woods, play in the mud and most importantly, learn what it means to be a “Man of God”.

High School Outpost Extreme 

How about adding an extreme adventure to your summer? Climbing WallThis extreme outpost camp has it all with an off-site canoeing adventure trip and an adrenaline-rush day on the new high ropes course! Lodging is in a designated outpost village while enjoying camp activities, fellowship, and a chance to discover a meaningful relationship with Jesus.

Leadership Training Camp

This leadership training camp gives high-school aged students the tools to succeed and grow in the Christian faith, as well as provide skills to serve as Christian leaders at camp and in the community.

Looking for more hand-on leadership experience than this leadership week? Apply to be a Youth Servant Leader (YSL)! YSL's assist counselors in providing for the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of campers. Leadership Training is mandatory for those applying to serve as a YSL. If you are high-school aged and will be 15 years old by June, you can become a YSL this summer by completing the YSL Application. Get ready to make a difference!

Confirmation Summer Camp

Confirmation CampKick off annual confirmation programs in a camp setting. Camp Omega staff lead confirmation students in camp activities. Two hours a day are set aside for instructors to meet with their students for class session. Counselors will provide supervision during all activities times as well as nightly supervision in cabins. Instructors stay in Retreat Center. To register, download the Group Registration Form for your group or by contacting the camp office (507-685-4266).

August 16-19

Cost: $170 per participants. This includes programming, supervision, nights lodging and meals. One instructor per class comes free.

Camp Omega Day

Enjoy this "Open House" day to reconnect with Camp Omega or experience it for the first time Family Wagonby participating in this special opportunity for guests of all ages. Activities include hay rides, pontoon rides, crafts, archery, canoeing, swimming, great food and a variety of family activities. Stay for the day or just stop in to see what camp is all about. KinderCamp

Father & SonOpen to children ages 4-6 and an accompanying adult, KinderCamp offers a chance for parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, godparents, and even older brothers or sisters to spend a weekend with their camper for fun, relaxation, and Christian growth. Campers and adults will stay in cabins or the RetreatCenter located on main camp with a bunk mate of their choice. Father & Son Retreat

Father & Son ShootDad and son! Take advantage of a weekend get away to God's country and choose your adventure! Spend the day canoeing or participate in our firearms safety program. See "Family Adventure Camp" for program description. No prior shooting experience necessary and a minimum age of 8 years old for either adventure. Father and sons, or grandfather and grandsons are welcome!

Mother & Daughter Retreat

Camp for People with Developmental Disabilities

Campers will enjoy singing, playing games, swimming, Bible study, arts and crafts, devotions, and more. Download a copy of the Camper Attendance Guidelines if you have questions about enrollment. Check in time is at 6:30 pm.

Creation Camp

Learn about our Lord’s creation like never before. Experience explosions, gases, liquid nitrogen and many other hands-on activities while learning about God’s creation and the truth of His Word. Brian Young of Creation Instruction Association (www.creationinstruction.org) will lead participants in numerous fun scientific demonstrations and help them understand how to respectfully defend the Christian faith while learning that the Bible and science are not in conflict. Combine this with the all-time favorite camp activities and it becomes an event you don’t want to miss.

9-14 year olds..........July 31- August 5

Survivor Camp 

Campers stay in a remote outpost village only Survialaccessible by boat with bunkmates of their choice and will experience wilderness living at its best. While practicing fire building and cooking outdoors, campers learn basic but vital survival techniques. In addition to sleeping under the stars, campers will participate in swimming, archery, arts and crafts, Bible study, and much more! 

9-12 year olds

High Ropes Course Adventure

Leap of faithTake your summer adventure to new heights! Come experience an adrenaline filled week on the new Camp Omega high ropes course. After experiencing some low-ropes and ground elements, you will spend the day suspended 20-40 feet in the air engaged in high ropes team-building challenge course adventures. There is also plenty of time for archery, swimming, field games, daily Bible study and much more! Campers will stay in Cabins or the Retreat Center located on main camp with bunk mates of their choice.

Firearms Safety Camp

Campers journey off-site to a nearby shooting range Shot Gun Campand receive training from a MN Certified Firearms Safety Instructor on shotgun, rifle, and handgun safety and shooting technique. Firearms are available for those who don’t have their own. This week is complete with swimming, field games, archery, Bible study and much more! Campers stay in cabins or the RetreatCenter located on main camp with a bunk mates of their choice. This is only an introduction to safe gun handling. Art Camp

Fuel your creative side while experimenting with various art techniques. Spend time working on art projects and special crafts during your afternoon activities. There is also time for archery, swimming, field games, daily Bible study, camp fires and more! Campers stay in cabins or the Retreat center located on main camp with buck mates of their choice.

Outpost Village Camps

Covered Wagon GroupThe Outpost Camp offers campers a unique opportunity to experience life outdoors while lodging in tepees, covered wagons, or tree houses. Each outpost houses 12-16 campers and is staffed by two counselors and Youth Servant Leaders. Campers will cook all meals over the fire during their weeklong stay. Each outpost has a kitchenette area, fire circle, water spigot, and privy. Campers will have daily access to full service restrooms, showers and changing areas located on main camp. Fun and fellowship would not be complete without swim time, archery, Bible study and more!

Treehouse Outpost

Camping in the trees!  This outpost village offers four tree houses that each sleeps four campers.  The tree houses are located in the middle of camp's peninsula which extends into HorseshoeLake and is a 7-10 minute hike from Main Camp.

Covered Wagon Outpost 

Wagons ho!  Tucked into a shaded area near the waterfront of LakeHorseshoe, these two Conestoga covered wagons each sleep 8 campers.  The Covered Wagon Village sits under a canopy of tall oak tress and is a five minute walk from main camp. 

Tepee Outpost

Nestled on top of a hillside of wildflowers at the easternTeepee Door end of camp, the village offers two tepees that stretch 24-feet high and sleep 8 campers each. The Tepee Outpost is a five minute walk from main camp.

Outpost Weekend Camps

It's time for a weekend adventure in an Outpost Village! This fun-filled retreat is packed with camp activities like swimming, arts and crafts, canoeing and Bible study with the chance to encounter outpost village living. Campers will have meals provided in the Dining Hall on main camp. Come join us for the weekend and get outdoors!

Adventure Quest Trips

Off site adventure trips offer a unique opportunity to spend time outdoors. While on-site, the adventure campers lodge at base camp in one of the outpost villages. Campers learn how to set up their own tents, pack gear and cook meals over a camp stove or campfire as they embark on a Lake Excursion Trip. On the LakeExcursion, campers will navigate LakeSakatah using canoes or kayaks. Teamwork, overnight campouts, and plenty of fun and fellowship in Christ make this a memorable week you don’t want to miss!

Main Camp and
Outpost Camp Information

Main Camp Facilities

summer cabinCentrally located in the "Main" part of camp, Main Camp facilities include the Retreat Center and five cabins. Each of these facilities, typically lodge youth camper groups of sixteen youth and two counselors, and provide indoor bathrooms, carpeted floors, and bunk beds. Unless otherwise noted, Main Camp is home for all of our programs.

Outpost Village Facilities

Looking for a camping experience that's a bit more adventurous and challenging? You may find yourself in one of our four Outpost Villages this summer. The rustic settings, small-group program design, and outdoor cooking make for a fun and unique camp experience. Counselors and campers work together to cook their meals over a fire or camp stove at their village kitchen. Select Outpost groups participate in special challenges, lake excursions, or river trips.Summer treehouse

Each village is within a 5-minute walk of Main Camp and consists of bunk-style beds, an outdoor kitchen, and a campfire ring. Since the villages do not have electricity or hot water, campers shower at Main Camp.
