Camp Omega is packed full of activity with annual year-round Camp Omega sponsored Retreat Programs. Retreats offer a great way to grow together with your friends, family, youth groups, and congregations. Information about our upcoming retreats are listed below. To register for any of these events, download the retreat flyer or contact the camp office. Confirmation Retreat

CrossJoin other confirmation groups for a fun-filled weekend of Christian growth, songs, group building and games. Camp Omega staff will lead two Bible Studies, evening and closing service, and morning devotions. Outside activities include fun games and service projects. Come for fellowship, fun, and time to praise God. Event runs from Friday 6:30pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday. Download the Registration Flyer for more information and to register.

Annual Work Weekend

MeasuringJoin others in Christ's fellowship while preparing Camp Omega for the arrival of over 1600 children and adults for our summer camp programming. Entire families are welcome to join in the service, fun, and recreation of a fulfilling service weekend. Camp Omega staff will lead the youth and children in age-appropriate service projects and recreational activities. The weekend kicks off Friday evening and lasts through lunch on Sunday, but join us for any part of the weekend as your schedule allows. Download the Flyer and Registration form.

Annual Camp Omega Day (An Open House Event)

Join us for this free Open House event for all ages.
Activities include a 10:00 opening sing-a-long and devotion, free picnic style barbeque, swimming, horse drawn wagon rides, pontoon boat rides, zip lining, archery, canoeing, and a variety of other Camp Staff led activities for the whole family. The days events conclude around 4:00 pm.
 

RSVP is preferred, but not required. To RSVP, contact the camp office by email or call (507) 685-4266 .

Camp Omega Sunday

The first Sunday of June every year, congregations in the MN South District recognize this day as the day Camp Omega begins serving 2000 people annually through it's summer ministry program.

Please pray for the guests, campers, and the camp staff that lives will be changed because of the Holy Spirit’s work though the Gospel message as shared with campers through the summer ministry program. Your congregation can also support camp by taking a door offering or designate all or part of that Sunday's offering to the Camp's "For the Children Fund". This fund provides much needed scholarship money to families in need so they may attend camp.

Children and Youth Summer Camps

Confirmation Summer Camp

StudyKick off confirmation in a camp setting. Camp Omega staff  leads confirmation students in typical camp activities, confirmation instructors discuss topics. Counselors will provide supervision during all activity times as well as overnight in cabins. Instructors stay in Retreat Center.

Two hours per day are set aside for instructors to meet with their students and discuss confirmation topics. Confirmation instruction/study times for each congregation provided by their own confirmation instructor. To register, download the Flyer and Registration Form.

Dates: August 16-19, 2016

Cost: $160 per participant. This includes programming, supervision, three nights lodging and meals. One instructor per class comes free.

Annual Benefit Golf Tournament

GolfGet a foursome together and join our annual golf tournament at Rich Valley Golf Club near Rosemount. The proceeds from the  tournament support the camp’s campership endowment fund. These funds support the camp’s commitment to providing camp experiences for all including those with financial need. To register, email the camp office or call 507.685.4266 and ask for Curt. 11:00am Registration and 12:00 noon shotgun start.

MN State Fair Camp Omega Restaurant

That's right... Camp Omega has a restaurant at the "Great Minnesota Get-Together". How about an egg roll, teriyaki ostrich on-a-stick, or seafood wontons? Plan to stop by and have a meal with us at the China Town MN food booth. All proceeds go to help offset camper fees so as many as possible may hear of Christ's deep love for them.

Restaurant Volunteer Teams needed! All volunteers get a free ticket to enjoy a day at the fair for free. Contact us for more information.

Annual Benefit Trap Shooting Tournament

ShotgunGrab a shooting partner and join our annual shotgun trap shooting tournament at the Morristown Gun Club behind Alhmans Gun shop just 5 miles east of Camp Omega. All levels of shooters including first timers are welcome. The proceeds from the tournament go to the camp’s campership endowment fund. These funds support the camp’s commitment to providing camp experiences for all including those with financial need. $75 per shooter ($150 per two person team); includes four rounds (100 clays), a meal and prizes. Must bring your own shot shells or can be purchase from camp the day of the event. Registration and Orientation begin at 2:00pm. To sign up, email the camp office or call 507.685.4266 and ask for Bob. 2:00pm registration with meal to conclude the event.

Annual Cross Country Invitational

Cross Country Folk

Lutheran Schools in Minnesota South District are invited to attend Camp Omega's annual Cross-Country meet. Overlooking Horseshoe Lake, this course winds through Camp Omega, offering spectacular views of the beautiful fall colors. Family and friends are welcome to attend as spectators! There are events for students in grades 4th-8th. Race distances are 1500 meters for grades 4th-6th and 3000 meters for grades 7th-8th. Fun and effort are the emphasis.

Junior High Recharge

This Junior High Recharge for grades 6-8 offers spiritual growth, community building, and fun activities geared toward providing a Christ-centered retreat where participants can grow together in their personal relationship with Jesus.  Event runs from Friday 6:30 pm to 4:30 pm on Saturday.

Men's Adventure Retreat ... Fishing, Hunting, Shooting & Golfing


This event is scheduled with plenty of time for on your own activity of choice AND time for being in the Word together. Gather a few friends or bring your congregations Men's Ministry Group. Activities may include landing that record fish on lake horseshoe or any of the surrounding lakes of your choice, honing in your shooting skills at a near by trap shooting, pistol or rifle range with the help of a MN DNR Firearms Instructor, flushing some pheasant or chucker from a local game farm during a guided hunt, head out at 5:00 am to the duck blind or finally getting that hole-in-one on the golf course.  A guest presenter will lead the Bible studies, devotion and topical conversations. Event runs from Thursday 7:00 pm to Sunday afternoon. Fishing, hunting, shooting or golf fees may be additional.

Cost: $147 per participant (includes 3 nights lodging and 7 meals)

Annual Appreciation Dinner

The 9th Annual Camp Omega Appreciation Event will be the setting for expressing appreciation to a group of people in our churches whose behind-the-scenes efforts on behalf of their churches' ministries often go unnoticed and unappreciated.  These are the men and women who serve on church councils.

Plan now to be part of an evening of recognizing them for their ministry of leadership.  The program will feature Dr. Micah Parker, nationally-known Christian motivational speaker, who will enlighten and entertain us with Scripture-based message.  Arrive at the Faribault American Legion at 4:30 on Sunday, November 22nd, for the social hour and introductions, followed by a FREE turkey supper and the program.

Youth Servant Leader Reunion

Did you serve as a past Summer Youth Servant Leader (YSL)?  When was the last time you saw your fellow YSLs?  Now is your chance to reunite with friends and have a lot of fun! Bring your winter gear and get ready for some intense broomball and sledding (pending snow conditions)!  Event begins on the 28th at 7:00 pm ending the 29th at 6:00 pm. Those signed up for both the YSL Reunion and Sr. High Retreat will be allowed to stay until second event begins. Download the Registration Flyer (coming next fall) and get signed up today!

Annual Summer Staff Reunion

Has it been a while since your last visit to Camp Omega? Do you long to see friends from years past? Then bring your old camp photos, stories, and winter clothes to play in the snow, and reunite with other past summer staff members. If you know someone who is a former summer camp staff member at Camp Omega, please inform them of this memorable event!
