Mission

The Environmental Learning Program (ELP) is dedicated to providing schools with a self-contained experiential environmental education program that enables students to grow in their faith, gain a deeper understanding of God’s creation and grow in their understanding of their role as stewards of His creation.

What You Need to Provide

Adult leaders to provide supervision during the day and to stay in the cabins with the students at night.

School Responsibilities

  1. Adult leaders shall provide supervision for all non-programmed times at camp. These times include Canteen, free time, breaks between activities, and nighttime (from after campfire devotion until breakfast).
  2. Adult leaders shall help ensure students remain in a positive learning environment at all times by taking an active role in the supervision and, if need be, discipline of students.
  3. The school shall provide transportation for all off-site learning.

Camp Omega Staff Responsibilities

  1. Staff shall help in the planning, implementation, and leadership of the program.
  2. Staff shall ensure students remain in a positive learning environment at all times by taking an active role in the supervision and, if need be, discipline of students.
  3. Staff shall provide students the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of God’s creation.
